They're like those things you get on top of cocktail stirrers on holiday! How do you write on them though? And where/how do you stick them to things?
Pure guess, but I think you just pull them off the core. It's completely aesthetic, can you imagine trying to write out your shopping list on a segment of apple?! - you'd need tiny writing - Perfect for a mouse to write on or better yet a borrower..
